Iso Recycle

Iso Recycle is a system or process for recycling isocyanates in the polyurethane industry. Isocyanates are important chemical compounds in the production of polyurethane foams, coatings, adhesives and other polymer products. In the production process, some of these materials are unused or remain as waste, and their recycling is very important from an economic and environmental perspective.

Main features of Iso Recycle:

Recycling of residual isocyanates: This system allows the recycling and reuse of unused or waste isocyanates.

Reduction of production costs: By recycling raw materials, production costs are reduced.

Reduction of chemical waste: The discharge of hazardous materials into the environment is prevented.

Increased productivity: Optimal use of chemical resources is made.

Environmental impacts

Water pollution: Entering water sources causes pollution and harm to aquatic organisms (due to insolubility, it forms a layer on the water surface).

Soil contamination: Infiltration into soil can reduce soil quality and damage plants.

Air pollution: Evaporation of the material results in the release of hydrocarbon vapors and toxic gases (such as H2S).

Waste management: Waste should be disposed of in accordance with environmental regulations (such as RCRA in the US or local standards).

Material name: Iso Recycle

Material type: Flammable liquid

Boiling range: 196 to 495 °C

Flash point: 92 °C (NFPA Class III flammable liquid)

Density: Typically between 0.8 and 0.9 g/cm3 (depending on specific compounds; more precise data required)

Solubility: Insoluble or slightly soluble in water, soluble in organic solvents (such as hydrocarbons)

Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions, but may react in the presence of heat or sparks.

Chemical composition: Probably a mixture of heavy hydrocarbons (such as recycled petroleum compounds); more detailed analysis required to identify specific components (such as aromatics or paraffins).

Odor: Typically a strong hydrocarbon odor.

Color: Colorless to pale yellow (depending on the recycling process).
